lets see....theres a few things that have gone on since my last post. went to delaware the other weekend. that was fun. its always nice to get away from home for awhile. just wish it was a lil longer. also went to the beach for a day too. that was a blast. the ride home sucked really bad, but not enough to ruin the awesomeness of the day. i like the beach so much. later this month me and sank will be able to spend a whole weekend there (with or without friends is to be determined *ahem* get back to us if you want to go to *ahem*).
...and onto the bad latest happenings. my dog of almost 15 years died. he finally got to the point where he had to be put down. i've lost pets before and all of them were painful but i might as far to say that losing dusty was the most painful so far. thankfully i was able to hold myself together pretty well. i broke down a few times, and still find myself tearing up every now and then. now my dad is looking to get another dog. i know its just to have a friend for rex, cuz he misses having dusty around too. but i'm just not ready for another dog yet. it feels too much like we're just replacing dusty and i dont like that thought one bit. i'm sure though if and when we get a new dog i'll like it, i just wouldnt be searching for one right now is all.

I totally understand how you feel. =/ Sometimes having a new pet helps, though. Honestly, it doesn't lead to forgetting about the deceased, it just gives you something else to love. =]
